My path into yoga and mindfulness began in 2014 after a frightening LSD experience left me with generalised anxiety. Desperate for relief, I tried meditation — and during my very first session, I experienced a sense of stillness that cut straight through the fear. That moment changed everything.Since then, meditation has been a foundational daily practice. Over the years, it has meaningfully reduced my anxiety, deepened my sense of equanimity and peace, deepened my connection with myself and others, and expanded my self-awareness in ways I couldn't have imagined.Years later, while volunteering at a meditation retreat, I met a fellow volunteer and former inmate who shared how yoga and meditation transformed his life.
